I am Imko, and my story with London began on a crisp autumn morning when I first set foot in this city of dreams. Coming from a small town in the Netherlands, I arrived with just a backpack and a heart full of aspirations. London, a city I had only experienced through books and films, unfolded before me with its vibrant energy and diverse cultures.

I spent my weekends wandering through various neighborhoods, each with its own flavor and history. From the historic lanes of Shoreditch to the majestic streets of Westminster and the tranquil paths along the Thames, each exploration was a discovery of something new and exciting.
This realization led me to create ImkoLondon.com. Through my blog, I wanted to share my love for London and the UK, not just from a tourist’s perspective but as someone deeply intertwined with the city’s life.
